Arham’s surgery went well
Muhammad Arham's Story
2-year-old Muhammad Arham’s back passage was absent at the time of his birth. The doctors diagnosed his condition as imperforate anus which is a type of anorectal malformation. Because of this, Arham underwent a colostomy a few days after he was born. Later, the doctors advised surgery to make back passage for him when he turned two years old. For this purpose, Arham was admitted to Akram Medical Complex and his abdominoperineal pull-through surgery was performed by Dr. M. Bilal Mirza on 18.06.2021. He stayed in the hospital for eight days and was discharged in a stable condition. Arham has had a swift recovery post-surgery.
