Arslan Ahmad's Story

Arslan Ahmed, aged 4 years, faced difficulty in breathing upon mild exertion. His nails and lips also used to turn blue. On medical consultation, he was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect (ASD). The physician advised ASD closure for him. For this purpose, Arslan was admitted to The University of Lahore Teaching Hospital and his open heart surgery was performed by Dr. Faiz Rasool on 25.05.2021. He stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a stable condition. Arslan’s health has improved a great deal since his surgery.
