Balqees Begum's Story

Balqees Begum, 58 years of age, was suffering from periumbilical hernia for the last two years. She was advised a mesh hernioplasty – a type of hernia repair surgery where a mesh patch is sewn over the weakened region of tissue. Her surgery was done on 24-09-2020 by Dr. Ahmad Fawad at Lahore Care Hospital. She remained admitted in the hospital for three days after her surgery and was later discharged in good health, resuming her normal way of living.
