Basran Bibi’s heart is now healthy
Basran Khan's Story
Eighty years old Basran Bibi, a resident of Tando Adam, Sindh, had been suffering from unbearable chest pain. SHe was taken to a doctor, where upon consultation Basran was diagnosed with an Unstable Angina(UA). Unstable Angina is a type of Acute Coronary Syndrome. After the diagnosis, Basran was advised to undergo an Angiography and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention(PCI). For this purpose, she was admitted to Isra University Hospital. Her procedures were performed by Dr. Sharwan Sujani on 02-10-2021. A stent was placed to open up the blocked artery. The procedure was a success and Basran was discharged after four days of hospital stay in a satisfactory condition. Basran’s heart is now saved.
