Cochlear Implant Surgery of Saif Ullah was Successful
Saif Ullah Khan's Story
Two-year-old Saif Ullah, a resident of Abbottabad, had been struggling with sensorineural hearing loss since birth. However, his parents didn’t give up and took him to a local hospital when he was one-year-old. The doctor evaluated him and recommended a Cochlear Implant Surgery. The procedure was performed by the skilled surgeon, Dr. Jawad Ahmad, at Ali Medical Centre, Islamabad, on 21-06-2022. The internal component of the cochlear implant was successfully installed, and after one day of hospitalization, Saif was discharged. After six weeks, the external component was also fixed, and now Saif can hear the world around him.
