Gulshan Fatima Safely Welcomed Her Baby Boy

Gulshan Fatima's Story

Gulshan Fatima, a 27-year-old woman from Khanewal, recently faced one of the most critical moments of her life. Expecting her second child, Gulshan’s joy was mixed with deep anxiety as her pregnancy reached the 31-week mark. Her gynecologist, aware of her medical history, strongly recommended an elective C-section to ensure a safe delivery. However, the cost of the C-section was overwhelming for Gulshan.

Gulshan is a devoted homemaker, fully dedicated to raising her young daughter and managing her household. Her husband works hard as a daily wage laborer, earning just PKR 400–500 per day. Their income barely covers the essentials on the days when he finds work. On days without work, they often struggle even to put enough food for the family. Facing such financial instability, the cost of a C-section was beyond their reach. Despite their worries, Gulshan’s family remained determined to do everything they could for the safe delivery of their child. That’s when they reached out to Transparent Hands for support.

On March 20, 2025, Gulshan was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust Hospital in Multan. Her C-section took place on March 21, 2025. Dr. Tehreem Rasheed successfully performed the C-section and Gulshan gave birth to a baby boy. After receiving careful monitoring, Gulshan was discharged in satisfactory condition on March 23, 2025

Both mother and baby are now doing well, and the family is overjoyed. Gulshan said:
