Anas Dawood's Story

Anas Dawood 6 ½ years old boy was suffering from Anorectal Malformation (ARM) resulting in absent back passage – anal atresia. His emergency colostomy wasmade after his birth to make temporary passage of stool. He was advised surgery to construct his back passage at the normal site. His surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex on 17-01-19 by Dr. Naveed Haider and his Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty was done. He stayed for two days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and was discharged in stable condition.
