Irshad’s infected implants have been removed
Irshad Hussain's Story
48-year-old Irshad Hussain injured his right leg about a year ago. His surgery to fix the tibia bone was done at Mayo hospital. Postoperatively, he suffered from infected wounds and discharge from the site of operation. On complete check-up, he was diagnosed to have infected implant in his right tibia. The doctor advised removal of this infected implant. For this purpose, Irshad was admitted in Maryam Memorial hospital and the procedure was performed by Dr. Rahman Rasool Akhtar on 27.10.2020. His infected plate and screws were removed. Irshad stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. He is on his way to a complete recovery.
