Khursheed Bibi can walk freely again

Khursheed Bibi's Story

Khursheed Bibi, 71 years old, had a roadside accident and broke her left femur neck. This resulted in avascular necrosis of femoral head. An Austin Moore implant had been previously placed, which had now broken. Due to this, Khursheed bibi was unable to bear weight on her affected leg and was advised total hip replacement (THR). Her surgery- a total hip arthroplasty (THA) with a cemented and long stem implant- was done at Akram Medical Complex, on 26-11-19, by Dr Zahid Siddiq. She had an uneventful post op recovery and was discharged after three days of hospital stay with follow up advice.
