Liaqat Ali 's Story
Liaqat Ali Anjum, a resident of Rawalpindi was diagnosed with enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH) that had resulted in forming bladder stones. After medical evaluation, he was advised to undergo cystoscopy, litholapaxy for treating bladder stones, and Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for his BPH. For this purpose, he was admitted to Maryam Memorial Hospital, where the medical and surgical procedures were performed by Dr. Abdul Saadat Hassan on 26.02.2021. He was discharged from the hospital in satisfactory condition after six days of stay. Liaqat Ali Anjum is now hopeful of living a better life as he is gradually recovering from the surgery.
