Mansha Masih 's Story

Mansha Masih, a 53-year-old resident of Lahore, injured his left leg in a traffic accident two years ago. He was taken to the emergency room of a local hospital for first aid. His leg was badly crushed, and the doctor could not save it. The doctor had to amputate his leg above the knee. He needs an artificial leg to walk.  However, financial constraints stood as a significant obstacle in his path to acquiring the much-needed prosthetic leg.

He reached out to Transparent Hands, and we registered his case. Under the supervision of Dr. Khalid at Hope Rehabilitation Centre, his left above-knee prosthesis was fixed on 19-07-2023. He was overjoyed to be able to walk again after receiving an artificial leg.

The moment he took his first steps with the artificial leg, Mansha was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. The prosthetic limb not only allowed him to walk again but also bestowed upon him a renewed sense of independence and freedom.

The impact of this artificial leg on Mansha’s life cannot be overstated. The prosthetic leg has given Mansha the ability to navigate the world with confidence, resilience, and a restored sense of purpose.
