Mehak Bibi's Story

Mehak, a 21-year-old housewife residing in Karachi, carries the hopes and dreams of her growing family within her womb. Currently pregnant with her second child, she faces a challenging situation. Living in a rented house and with her husband’s monthly income amounting to only PKR 26,000, financial stability remains a distant dream for the couple.  She was reached out to Transparent Hands for financial help. 

Mehak was admitted to Murshid Hospital, Karachi, where the skilled hands of Dr. Samreen performed the C-section on 4-11-2023. The procedure was successful, and Mehak joyfully welcomed a healthy baby boy into her family. Both mother and child received excellent care and were declared healthy after two days of postnatal monitoring and support. She was met with kindness and compassion at the hospital. The doctors and nurses provided her with constant reassurance, answering her questions and addressing any concerns she had. They created a warm and nurturing environment for the mother and child.
