Mehwish Bibi's Story

Mehwish Bibi, a 6-year-old girl, suffered from complete loss of vision and intense recurring pain in her left eye. On medical consultation, she was diagnosed with a cataract. The doctor advised surgery for her cataract. For this purpose, Mehwish Hayat was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Trust Teaching Hospital. Her affected lens was removed and intraocular lens implantation was performed by Dr. Hassan Raza on 23.12.2021. Her vision was corrected. She stayed in the hospital for one day and was discharged in satisfactory condition. Mehwish Bibi was very happy when she finally recovered from her surgery as she looked forward to reading her books.
