Muhammad Jameel's Story
In the bustling city of Lahore, the life of Muhammad Jameel, a 33-year-old resident, underwent a profound and tragic transformation due to a factory explosion caused by a short circuit. This devastating incident resulted in the irreparable loss of his right leg, leaving Jameel to grapple with the profound challenges of diminished mobility and independence. Undeterred by the adversity he faced, Jameel initially relied on a prosthesis to regain the ability to walk. However, as time passed, the wear and tear on his old prosthesis rendered it ineffective, further exacerbating his struggles.
Jameel’s aspirations to walk with confidence and ease seemed unattainable until a glimmer of hope emerged. His unwavering determination to reclaim his life and be a pillar of strength for his wife and three children now hinged upon the support of compassionate individuals willing to extend a helping hand.
As the sole breadwinner in his family, earning a modest monthly income of PKR 22,000, Jameel faced significant financial constraints that posed a formidable barrier. Unable to afford the replacement of his worn-out prosthetic leg, he turned to Transparent Hands,

Through the generous contributions of these compassionate individuals, Jameel underwent a successful amputation procedure on November 20th, 2023, at Hope Rehabilitation Centre under the expert supervision of Dr. Khalid Niaz. Overwhelmed with gratitude.
