Mutabar Khan's Story
Mutabar Khan, aged 73, a resident of Serai Sherghar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa began experiencing chest pains on a daily basis. Cardiologist’s evaluation led to the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease (IHD). After Angioplasty, the doctors advised him open heart surgery for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). On 30.12.2020, he was admitted to Northwest General Hospital and Research Center where he underwent CABG by Dr. Niaz Ali. Keeping his age in view, Mutabar Khan was kept under observation until the doctors were completely satisfied with his progress. He was discharged from the hospital in a stable and satisfactory condition. After being taken care of at home, he is doing daily tasks independently and is satisfied with the improved quality of his life.
