Nabeela Successfully Underwent a C-Section
Nabeela Bibi's Story
Nabeela, a 26-year-old woman from Karachi, faced a difficult time during her second pregnancy. With a history of one C-section, she knew the risk involved. She went to a doctor filled with anxiety and hope. After a thorough examination and evaluation, her doctor expressed concerns regarding possible complications due to her previous medical history. Therefore, the doctor advised another C-section to ensure safe delivery as her pregnancy was high-risk. However, the cost of the C-section was beyond her financial reach.
Nabeela lived in a modest rented house with her husband and one child. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 25000 per month. With this meager monthly income, they barely covered the household expenses, leaving them with no savings for her C-section surgery. Nabeela and her husband were extremely concerned about the safety of their unborn child. During this time of need, Nabeela reached out to Transparent Hands. After learning about her critical situation, we immediately took action, organizing her surgery at one of our panel hospitals.
On 1st July 2024, Nabeela was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Samreen Zeeshan performed her C-section surgery on the same day. The surgery was performed successfully, and Nabeela gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Nabeela was hospitalized for three days and after recovery, she was discharged in a stable condition on 3rd July 2024.
Nabeela said with teary eyes:
“I can’t believe my child is safe and I am holding him in my arms. I needed C-section desperately, but I couldn’t afford it on my own. You have given me and my newborn a healthy life. Now, I look forward to every day and am thankful for this safe delivery.”
Without your support, she wouldn’t have been able to receive the care she needed. Your contributions changed her life, ensuring the safe delivery of her child and a healthy recovery for her.
