Nageena’s subtotal thyroidectomy was performed

Nageena Parveen's Story

Nageena Parveen, 25 years old, had a lump in the front of her neck for the past two years. On medical consultation, she was diagnosed with a multinodular goiter and was advised a subtotal thyroidectomy. For this purpose, she was admitted in Lahore Care Hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Ahmed Fawad on 01.12.2020. Her subtotal thyroidectomy was done in which thyroid gland was removed except for a small part that was left to preserve the thyroid function. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. She is slowly recovering from her surgery.
