Nasir Hussain's Story

Nasir Hussain, 5 years old, was born with an absent back passage and was diagnosed with anorectal malformation at the time of birth. His colostomy was performed for temporary passage of stool. Later, the doctor advised PSARP surgery for him. For this purpose, he was admitted in Lahore Care Hospital and the procedure was performed by Dr. Bilal Mirza on 12.12.2020. His PSARP surgery was done through abdominal approach to make his back passage. He stayed in the hospital for three days and was discharged in a stable condition. His post-operative recovery was satisfactory.
