Noor Jahan’s Cholecystectomy Has been Performed Successfully

Noor Jahan's Story

Noor Jahan, a 41-year-old resident of Karachi,  had been suffering from episodes of upper abdominal pain for the past three years. She went to the local clinic for an initial check-up. The doctor prescribed some painkillers to relieve the pain. However, she was not cured. She went to another hospital and underwent some diagnostic tests. Upon evaluation, she was diagnosed with gallstones. The doctor advised her to undergo a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. In her darkest hour, she reached out to Transparent Hands, clinging to the possibility of medical intervention and a chance at a brighter tomorrow. Her plea for assistance was heard, her case was registered, and a ray of hope illuminated her path.

She was admitted to the Murshid Hospital, Karachi,  where her operation was performed by Dr. Nida on 13-07-2023. She stayed in the hospital for one day only.  Her recovery is in progress as time passes, and she finds relief from the enduring pain. She was filled with a symphony of gratitude because she understood that without the kind donations that had made her surgery possible, recovery would have remained a dream.

Their unwavering support has become a beacon of hope, lighting her path toward a healthy life and reigniting her flickering hopes and aspirations. With each passing day, the weight of pain diminishes, bringing her closer to the profound realization that recovery is a testament to the unwavering strength of the human spirit. No words could ever capture the depth of her gratitude to all the donors, who have become a living testament to the boundless compassion that exists even in the face of life’s greatest challenges.
