Parvez Tabassum Khokar, a 64-year-old resident of Karachi, had an accident three years ago. His right leg broke badly. After being rushed to the local hospital, the doctor operated, and his femur bone was fixed using a rod. After the surgery, his pain not only persisted but he was also unable to bear weight or walk. He went to the hospital for another checkup. After that, the rod was removed, and simple plate fixation was done. He came to us with a broken plate (implant). He was advised to have the implant removed and apply the Ilizarov fixator. He was admitted to the United Hospital, Karachi, where his operation was performed by Dr. Noman on 1-11-2022.
