Rafi’s Prosthetic Arm was Attached Successfully
Muhammad Rafi's Story
Muhammad Rafi, a 40-year-old resident of Kasur, went through a tragic incident three years ago. While working in a field, his right hand and forearm were severely crushed by a machine. The doctors at the hospital couldn’t save his arm and had to amputate it below the elbow. The doctor advised him to get a prosthetic arm, but he couldn’t afford one due to financial constraints. Rafi reached out to Transparent Hands for help. We registered his case. Rafi was referred to the Hope Rehabilitation Centre, where he received specialized care from Dr. Khalid.
Thanks to the generous donations we received, we were able to provide him with a new artificial arm on 18-04-2023. He is extremely grateful to all the donors whose support made it possible to assist him in his journey toward a better life.
