Romaisa Bibi's Story

Romaisa, a 13-year-old resident of Multan, was experiencing blurry vision and decreasing ability to see for the last three months. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with Cataract. The doctor had advised Romaisa to undergo a Right Phaco with IOL placement under GA. Romaisa’s father is a security guard with a meager income and cannot afford his daughter’s surgery. They came to Transparent Hands for assistance. She was sent to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust on 23-02-2022 to get her surgery done by Dr. Sadaqat Ali. Romaisa was discharged the following day in satisfactory condition. Romaisa’s vision is clear now.
