Saba Imran Found Relief From Adenomyosis
Saba Imran's Story
Saba Imran, a 43-year-old resident of Lahore, had been experiencing frequent and heavy menstrual bleeding accompanied by severe pelvic pain for several years. Her condition left her weak and fatigued, and she also suffered from anemia. Despite undergoing symptomatic treatment, her relief was only temporary. Concerned about her persistent suffering, Saba consulted a specialist. After conducting several diagnostic tests and an ultrasound scan, the doctor identified Adenomyosis as the root cause of her illness. The doctor recommended a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy. However, Saba and her family couldn’t afford to pay for the surgery.
Saba lived in a modest rented house with her husband and a daughter. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, was an employee in a private company and earned just PKR 35000 per month. With this insufficient monthly income, it was difficult for them to even manage household expenses. The family’s financial situation was stretched thin and they had nowhere else to turn. During this time of need, Saba turned to Transparent Hands. Moved by her plight, we registered her case to ensure she received the much-needed treatment.
On October 25, 2024, Saba was admitted to the Akram Medical Complex in Lahore. An experienced surgeon, Dr. Asia Nasir, successfully performed her surgery. After the operation, Saba stayed under observation for three days before being discharged in stable condition on October 28, 2024.
After the procedure, Saba expressed her heartfelt gratitude as follows:
“You have given me a new hope in life. For years, I suffered in silence, but your support gave me the strength and hope to heal. I will forever be thankful for your generosity.”
Today, Saba is recovering, and she is free from the constant pain and bleeding that once defined her life. She can now care for her family without the burden of illness, and her improved health has restored her hope and confidence. Her family is deeply grateful to you for stepping forward to change Saba’s life.
