Saba Bibi's Story

Saba Bibi, 10 years old, had an ileostomy- a temporary opening for the stool passage- made after an emergency surgery for typhoid perforation. She was advised surgery to reverse this ileostomy. Her surgery was done at Medicare Hospital, Rawalpindi, on 25-10-19, by Dr Naeem Liaqat. The ileostomy was closed and intestinal continuity was restored once again. Saba recovered well during five days of hospital stay and was discharged in good health.
