Saeeda’s left knee was replaced

Saeeda Bibi's Story

Saeeda, aged 51 years, suffered from a terrible motorbike accident that injured her left knee around six years ago. She also felt pain in her right knee. The pain killers that her local physician prescribed to her only provided temporary relief. On further medical consultation, she was diagnosed to have developed bilateral advanced osteoarthritis of knee joints. The doctor advised surgical intervention. For this purpose, Saeeda was admitted to Patel Hospital and her left total knee replacement was performed by Dr. Nasir Ahmed on 14-06-2021. She stayed in the hospital for five days and was discharged in a stable condition. Saeeda’s left knee has recovered and now she is waiting for her right knee replacement surgery.
