Sahil had his ileostomy reversal surgery

Sahil Masih's Story

Sahil Masih, 10 years old, sustained a terrible abdominal injury when a car hit his bicycle. He was taken to the hospital where doctors first performed a laparotomy and then a double barrel ileostomy stoma was made on the abdomen. Later, an ileostomy reversal surgery was advised for him. For this purpose, Sahil was admitted in Akram Medical Complex and his surgery was performed by Dr. M. Bilal Mirza on 17.01.2021. He stayed in the hospital for six days and was discharged in a stable condition. Sahil has had a swift postoperative recovery and he has started going back to school now.
