Saira Bibi's Story

Saira Bibi, a resilient 29-year-old resident of Lahore, found herself at a critical juncture in her pregnancy. She had previously undergone two C-sections, and her doctor advised her to undergo a third one for the safe delivery of her baby. However, Saira and her husband were facing financial constraints that made it difficult for them to afford the necessary surgery. Despite her husband’s monthly income of 45,000 PKR, they struggled to meet their basic household needs, let alone cover the expenses of a major medical procedure.

In the midst of this challenging situation, a ray of hope appeared in the form of Transparent Hands. We became Saira’s beacon of hope, promising to provide her with the necessary care she deserved. On November 30, 2023, the day of the scheduled C-section, anticipation and anxiety filled the air. Saira and her husband clung to the hope that this would be the turning point in their lives.

The surgery was a resounding success, and Saira gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The joy and relief that washed over Saira and her family were immeasurable. After two days of post-operative care, Saira was discharged from the hospital, cradling her precious bundle of joy in her arms.
