Saleem Ghulam, a 15-year-old resident of Okara, injured his right leg in a traffic accident nine years ago. He was taken to the emergency department for injury management and treated there. The doctors could not save his leg and had to amputate his leg below the knee. He needed an artificial leg to walk again but he could afford to pay for it as he had no source of income. So, he contacted Transparent Hands and Hope Rehabilitation Centre to get an artificial leg. Under the supervision of Dr. Khalid, his right below-knee prosthesis was fixed on 26-08-2022. Saleem Ghulam is very happy to get an artificial leg and walk again.
