Salman Haider 's Story

Salman Haider, a 28-year-old resident of Lahore, had been suffering from recurrent episodes of chest pain, shortness of breath, and a productive cough for the last two years. He went to the local hospital for a check-up. He was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis. Initially, the doctor prescribed medicines, but he did not find relief. He revisited the doctor for further evaluation, who advised him to get an X-ray of the chest, which showed a left-sided pleural effusion. He was successfully treated for his pleural effusion. He revisited the doctor after some time with chest pain and productive cough.

Then, the doctor also asked him to undergo a CT scan with IV contrast. Salman registered his case with Transparent Hands. His CT scan (IV contrast) was performed by Dr. Tanveer at the Punjab Clinic of Radiology on 15-03-2023.  The report indicated that there were no pneumothorax or bronchitis features. Salman is thankful to Transparent Hands and all the donors for helping him with the diagnosis.
