Sania Abbas's Story

Sania Abbas, an eight-year-old girl, has suffered from repeated episodes of chest infection since her birth. Her parents got worried and took her for medical consultation. The test reports revealed that she was suffering from a moderate form of a congenital heart defect called patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). The cardiologist advised PDA device occlusion as the definitive treatment.
For this purpose, Sania was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital in Lahore and the procedure was performed by Dr. Najam Haider on 22-11-21. She was discharged from the hospital in a satisfactory condition. Sania’s health has improved significantly
