Shahzaib Imran's Story
Shahzaib Imran, 16 years old, suffered from shortness of breath since his birth. His lips and nails turned blue on exertion. On a thorough medical check-up, it was revealed that he suffered from a cardiac condition called Tetralogy of Fallot and was advised open heart surgery. For this purpose, Shahzaib was admitted in Ittefaq Hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Salman Ahmed Shah on 13.10.2020. His Rastelli operation was performed. He stayed in the hospital for thirteen days and was discharged in a stable condition. Shahzaib is slowly recovering from his major surgery. The surgery was conducted with the support of Pakistan Children Heart foundation and other donors.
