Shakeel underwent treatment for his heart

Shakeel Usman's Story

Shakeel Usman, aged 47 years, suffered from sudden onset of chest pain and breathlessness. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a heart attack. This happened around three months ago. Since then, he underwent extensive medical examination and was diagnosed with double vessel coronary artery disease (DVCAD). The doctor advised an angiography for him for better assessment of blood flow to his heart. For this purpose, Shakeel was admitted to National Hospital and Medical Center where his angiography was performed by Dr. Tayyab Mohyuddin on 25.05.2021. Shakeel’s left main coronary artery was found to be blocked and a stent was placed to open it. He stayed in the hospital for one day and was discharged in a stable condition. Shakeel’s health has improved a great deal since he underwent his cardiac treatment.
