Shakeela Bibi, aged 53 years, a resident of Lahore was living a happy life 5 years back till one day she felt pain in her chest. She went to the hospital for her check-up and the doctors advised her ECG. After getting the results, she was diagnosed with rheumatic heart disease and aortic stenosis/mitral stenosis. The doctors advised her for the surgery called double valve replacement (open heart surgery). For this purpose, she was admitted to National Hospital where her double valve placement was done by Dr. Ahmed Shehbaz on 16-08-21. She was discharged in a satisfactory condition, after 4 days of hospital stay.
