Shakir Hussain, a 47-year-old resident of Lahore, suffers from diabetes and diabetic foot. His foot got gangrene. Upon examination, the doctor advised him to undergo above knee amputation of the left leg. It had been four months since he underwent this trauma. In order to perform normal day-to-day activities, he required a prosthesis. For this purpose, he was sent to Hope Rehabilitation Center where he received his new prosthetic leg after consultation with Dr. Khalid Niazi on 09.12.2021. He is adjusting to his new leg now and looks forward to walking independently.
