Sughran Bibi Won Her Battle against Cancer

Sughran Bibi's Story

Sughran Bibi, a 48-year-old woman from Kasur, had been experiencing severe pain due to a lump in her right breast for 10 months. On examination, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Her oncologist advised a conservative surgery for her right breast. The procedure was performed in January 2023, but the follow-up treatment plan was not over yet. The doctor advised her to undergo chemotherapy sessions along with the administration of Herceptin injections as she was HER2-positive.

Sughran remained determined to fight for her health. She understood the necessity of the recommended treatment plan to improve her chances of recovery. The financial burden of the treatment became an obstacle in her journey toward recovery. Her husband’s meager monthly income proved insufficient to meet the expenses of her treatment.
