Tayyaba Raffique's Story
Tayyaba Raffique, 1½ years old, was suffering from anorectal malformation (ARM) resulting in an anteriorly placed anal opening. She was operated on when she was 5 months old to make a temporary passage for stool. Her anterior sagittal anorectoplasty (ASARP) was done one month ago through Transparent Hands. Tayyaba was advised a final surgery to close her colostomy. Her surgery was done at Akram Medical Complex, on 08-11-19, by Dr Naveed Haider. She stayed for four days in the hospital, with good post-operative recovery, and was discharged in healthy a condition.
