Umer Can Walk Now Without Pain
Umer Rasheed's Story
Umer, a 37-year-old from Lahore, has been struggling with the effects of polio since childhood. Due to the disease, his left leg is shorter than the other, causing him immense pain and difficulty walking. Despite being advised by doctors to get a polio brace for support, Umer could not afford it, leaving him in despair. That’s when he turned to Transparent Hands and Hope Rehabilitation Centre for help. Thankfully, with the support of generous donors, Umer’s case was registered, and his artificial polio brace was fixed on 10-11-2022 under the supervision of Dr. Khalid.
Thanks to the compassionate donations of people like you, Umer’s life has been transformed. He can now walk without pain and is hopeful for a brighter future.
