Umm-e-Habiba Heart Surgery was Successful

Umme Habiba's Story

Seven-year-old Umm-e-Habiba, a resident of Kasur, had been suffering from shortness of breath, nausea, and vomiting. Her parents learned about her condition when she was only five months old. They took her to the local hospital. After a thorough evaluation and some diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed her with critical congenital heart defects involving Ventricular Septal Defect, Double Chamber Right Ventricle, and Right Ventricle Outflow Tract Obstruction. The cardiac surgeon advised Umm-e-Habiba to undergo Open-Heart Surgery for Total Correction.

She was admitted to the University of Lahore, Teaching Hospital where her operation was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 22-10-2022. She was discharged after four days of stay in the hospital. We are grateful to our donors for their support. She has recovered now.
