Muhammad Yahya's Story

Muhammad Yahya, aged 7 years, suffered from intestinal obstruction at the age of nine months. He was urgently taken to the hospital and the doctors performed a colostomy on him. Moreover, Yahya’s condition was diagnosed as Hirschsprung disease for which a Duhamel pull through procedure was advised. Consequently, Yahya was admitted to Akram Medical Complex and his surgery was performed by Dr. M. Bilal Mirza on 10th Aug 2021. His hospital stay was six days and he was discharged in a stable condition. Yahya’s health has improved significantly post-surgery.
