You Ensured a Safe Delivery for Khalida

Khalida Bibi's Story

Khalida, a 35-year-old woman from Karachi, was pregnant with her fifth child and had undergone two C-section surgeries in the past. After consulting a gynecologist and undergoing diagnostic tests and an ultrasound scan, she was advised to have another C-section surgery for a safe delivery. However, the cost of the surgery was beyond her family’s financial means.

In her desperation to ensure a safe delivery, Khalida reached out to Transparent Hands for help. Understanding the urgency of her situation, Transparent Hands registered her case. Thanks to the generosity of donors, Khalida was able to undergo the procedure without delay.

The day of hope arrived and Khalida was admitted to Murshid Hospital Karachi. On 27th May 2024, Dr. Samreen skillfully performed her C-section surgery. The C-section was a success and she delivered a healthy baby girl.

On 29th May 2024, Khalida was discharged in stable condition from the hospital. Her heart filled with the overwhelming joy of becoming a mother to another child. Khalid expressed her emotions as follows:

“I cannot express how thankful I am. You have given me the greatest gift—the safe arrival of my child. I was so scared, but now I am filled with happiness and gratitude.”
