Muhammad Saleem, a 33-year-old resident of Lahore, experienced a life-altering incident seven years ago that left him with a crushed right leg while working in the fields with a wheat fodder machine. To save his life, his leg had to be amputated below knee level. After the amputation, Saleem faced the daunting task of adapting to life with a disability and the associated challenges.

Living in a small house with six family members, Saleem carried the responsibility of being the sole breadwinner. However, his monthly income of just PKR 25,000 posed significant financial constraints, barely meeting the needs of his family. Affording an artificial leg seemed like an impossible dream.
