Mushtaq Ahmed's Story

Mushtaq Ahmed, a 58-year-old resident of Lahore, injured his right leg in a traffic accident in 2004. He went to the local clinic for a check-up where the doctor bandaged his wound. After some time, his wound got worse. He went to the local hospital again for an evaluation and the doctor had to amputate his right leg below the knee level because the wound had become grossly infected. The plastic leg he had been using was worn out and he needed a new artificial leg. He had no source of income due to his disability and could not afford to pay for it. So, he contacted Transparent Hands and Hope Rehabilitation Centre. His new artificial right leg was fixed on 20-06-2022 under the supervision of Dr.Khalid.
