Obaid Ur Rehman's Story

Nine-year-old Obaid Ur Rehman, a resident of Chakwal, had been suffering from recurrent severe pain in his throat for more than two years. He could not eat or sleep because of it. The doctors prescribed pain killers which provided temporary relief. Obaid Ur Rehman’s parents took him to the doctor for another consultation and he was diagnosed with chronic tonsillitis. The ENT specialist advised surgical removal of his inflamed tonsils. Therefore, he was admitted to Maryam Memorial Hospital and his Tonsillectomy was performed by Dr. Shaukat Ali on 09.05.2022. He stayed in the hospital for a day and was discharged in a stable condition. Obaid Ur Rehman’s throat ache and inflammation have been cured with the surgery.
