Muhammad Ahmed's Story
Muhammad Ahmed, a two-year-old resident of Lahore, faced difficulty in breathing upon mild exertion. On medical consultation, he was diagnosed with Tetralogy Of Fallot (TOF). TOF is a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. The physician advised open heart surgery for total correction. For this purpose, Muhammad Ahmed was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital and his open-heart surgery was performed by Dr. M. Asim Khan on 25.11.2021. He stayed in the hospital for five days and was discharged in a stable condition. Ahmed’s health has improved a great deal since his surgery.
