Tanzeela Bibi's Story

Tanzeela Bibi, a 39-year-old resident of Lahore, has endured excruciating abdominal pain, discomfort, constipation, nausea, and vomiting for the past four years. Each day has been a relentless battle as her symptoms worsened, gradually diminishing her quality of life. Tanzeela longed for relief and a chance to live without the burden of pain and suffering. The solution lay in a crucial surgical procedure called an open cholecystectomy.

However, with her family’s monthly income of 30,000 PKR and the overwhelming financial burden they faced, the prospect of affording the much-needed surgery seemed impossible. Thanks to the support of generous donors, Tanzeela was admitted to Lahore Care Hospital, where the skilled surgeon Dr. Ahmed Fawad performed the life-changing surgery on February 14, 2024. The cholecystectomy procedure was a success, alleviating her pain and discomfort. Just two days later, Tanzeela was discharged from the hospital, in a satisfactory condition and grateful for the newfound relief.
