Your Support Blessed Saba with a Baby Boy
Saba Hayat's Story
Saba Hayat, a 24-year-old woman from Karachi, was pregnant with her second child. She had a history of one C-section, therefore, she was aware of the risks involved. She went to a local hospital and consulted a gynecologist. Considering her medical history and after performing a thorough examination, her doctor found out that Saba would need another C-section. This decision was made to ensure the safety of Saba and her baby. The anxiety due to her high-risk pregnancy added to the burdens in Saba’s life.
Saba lived in a small rented house with her husband and a child. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, was a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 25000 per month. With this meager monthly income, it was challenging for them to pay the house rent in addition to their utility bills and food expenses. With a family of three depending solely on her husband’s income, Saba knew they could not afford the surgery. Worried about her baby’s health and her own safety, she contacted Transparent Hands for assistance. After listening to her concerns, we registered Saba’s case.
On 28th October 2024, Saba was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Farkhanda Saeed performed the C-section successfully and Saba gave birth to a healthy baby boy. After receiving post-surgical care, both Saba and her newborn were discharged in good health on 30th October 2024.
Saba expressed her emotions as follows:
“I was scared we wouldn’t be able to manage, but you gave us hope. I can’t believe that I am holding my newborn baby in my arms. I will never forget your generosity as you helped us when we needed it the most. Thanks a lot for being there!”
Saba’s C-Section ensured a safe delivery, and she is now able to focus on her newborn and family. Her life has improved significantly. She is incredibly grateful to you for stepping in during her time of need. You enabled Saba to reclaim her life with new hope and resilience.
