Dawood Ahmed's Story

Dawood Ahmed 4 years old boy was suffering from a high variety of Anorectal Malformation (ARM) resulting in his absent back passage. His emergency colostomy was done when he was only one day old to make a temporary passage for stool. He was advised surgery to construct his back passage at the normal site. His surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex on 25-07-19 by Dr. Naveed Haider and his Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty (PSARP) was done. He stayed for two days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and was discharged with follow-up advice.
