Zikran Khan’s Heart was Saved
Zikran Khan's Story
One-year-old Zikran Khan, a resident of Swat, had been suffering from repeated chest infections and cyanosis since birth. His parents took him to the hospital, and after getting his Echo test results, the doctors diagnosed him with an atrial septal defect (ASD) and Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC). The cardiologist advised him to undergo open heart surgery for TAPVC repair. For this purpose, Zikran Khan was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital and his procedure was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 11.03.2022. Zikran Khan was discharged in stable condition after six days.
