Zohaib Ali's Story

Nine-year-old Zohaib, a resident of Layyah, was suffering from shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and an irregular pulse since birth. After consultation and some diagnostic tests, he was diagnosed with severe Aortic Regurgitation and Left Ventricular Volume Overload. The cardiac surgeon advised Open-Heart Surgery for Aortic Valve Replacement.

He was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was performed by Dr. Asim on 19-09-2022. He was discharged from the hospital after six days of stay. This surgery was made possible with the support of the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation. He has recovered fully from the surgery.
