Zubaida Bibi’s Heart is Saved
Zubaida Askar Ali 's Story
Zubaida Bibi, a 56-year-old resident of Kati Garhi, had been suffering from chest pain and shortness of breath for the last five years. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease-causing her Mitral Regurgitation. The doctor advised her to undergo a Mitral Valve Replacement. She was admitted to Northwest General Hospital for her surgery by Dr. Niaz Ali on 28-12-2021. She was kept under observation until she was seen progressing well. Zubaida was discharged after nine days of hospital stay in satisfactory condition. Zubaida is now on her road to recovery.
